6th Grade vs Argos (27 - 22) Win 6th Grade vs Peru 6th Grade vs Logansport Intermediate School In the opening game of the Caston 6th Grade Tourney, the Comets faced Argos. The Comets started a little slow, but shook that off to get themselves to the end of the first quarter only down two, 10-12! The Comets worked the ball on the offensive end but struggled on the defensive end! The second quarter, the Comets could only get one shot to fall while Argos was able to score 4. At half, the Comets were behind 12-16! In the third, the Comet defense stiffened up holding Argos to just 2 points and behind Bear Craig's getting to the foul line was able to score 6! With the scored tied at 18's, The Comets continued to limit Argos' offense, while the Comets got big baskets from Aldair Flores, Parker Baldwin-See and Abel Love lady to get the lead! The Comets was able to gain the victory! The final 27-22! The Comets were in the Championship game! Big win for the Comets! Bear Craig had 15 points. Abel Lovelady contributed 8 points! But no points were any bigger than the two points each that Aldair and Parker were able to contribute!
