Basketball (Boys 6AB) Scores

6th Grade vs Oregon-Davis High School (18 - 4) The 6th grade Comets played host to Oregon-Davis on Thursday. The Comets were excited to get back on the court! The Comets jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first quarter! The Comets were able to run their offense and had great shots that just did not go in! We should have had a bigger lead! The second quarter, the Comets continued to move the ball and played solid defense. At half, the Comets led 12-4! In the second half, the Comets did a good job moving the ball but could not get a basket! We did go to the free throw line, but were only able to hit only 2 of 10. The Comets were up 10, 14-4 going into the 4th. In the 4th quarter the Comets relied on good defense and rebounding to hold O-D scoreless! The final score was 18-4! Bear Craig led the Comets with 10 points. Abel Love lady added 4, Parker Baldwin-See chipped in 3 and Eli White hit a free throw to close the scoring! The Comets will play again Saturday morning at 10am at Winamac in the HNAC tournament! They will play North Judson in the opener!
