6th Grade vs Triton (22 - 55) Loss On Thursday the 6th grade Comets played host to Triton. The young Comets were looking to show that they were getting a little better! The Comets on the strength of 8 points by Bear Craig was down at the end of the first quarter, 8-15. Triton has a good team that can run up and down the floor! The second quarter was more of the same! At half the Comets were down 16-29! We had scored 16 points or more accurately Craig Bear had 16 points! We did run offense better and Craig was able to get good looks at the basket! The third quarter was a different story! Triton's defense get stiffer. We could only score a foul shout in the third. The score at the stop was 17-49. The fourth quarter had its moments. The final score was 22-55. Craig Bear scored all of our points, while Triton had 4 players in double figures. We were a little better tonight but we still have a ways to go. The 6th grade Comets play next Monday at Winamac with a 6 pm start.
