The Caston Comets Lady Cross Country team claimed the Peru Invite on Tuesday evening, defeating the host Tigers, North Miami, and Pioneer. Head coach Blair Zimmerman had this to say about the girls' effort: "I'm very proud of our girls for grabbing 4 of the top 10 spots, in spite of the heat. In fact, we saw some of the best first mile times of the season. I can't wait to see what the girls are able to accomplish at the conference meet on Saturday." The Comets will look to finish the season strong by turning their sights to the HNAC meet held at Town Park in Winamac on Saturday. 2025 team members include Hannah Rogers, Trinity Zimmerman, Myli Rude, Camila Hernandez-Rios, Alexa Lowe, Jaded Aguilar, and Emmie Lowe
