Comets Beat Understaffed Cavs Varsity vs Culver (3 - 1) Win The Cavaliers took the pitch with only 18 boots on the ground (soccer slang for "they played with nine players"). They didn't let that stop them from scoring a goal, nor did it stop them from preventing a Caston goal for the first thirty minutes of the game. While the Comets had great ball movement, good team play, and 10+ shots on goal...nobody could find the back of the net. Fortunately Brodie Howard broke the ice a few minutes before going into the halftime break. Caston made a keeper change for the second half and that resulted in a little bit more of an offensive attack. Koltyn Smith and Mack Mappin were the Comets' other goal scorers.
