Junior defensive back, Gage Minniear, earned an IHSAA Exemplary Sportsmanship Award for his actions during Friday night's varsity football contest against South Central. As sent to the offices of the IHSAA, the official reported: "Caston's Gage Minniear, after completing a tackle, and seeing that the ball carrier from South Central was starting to suffer from leg cramps, Gage jumped up and began to stretch out the opponent's leg for him. It was great to see a young man just step in and do something like that." Congratulations to Gage for your display of selflessness and to the Comet football team who defeated South Central that night 46-0.
