Caston volleyball player, junior Madisyn Douglass, earned an IHSAA Exemplary Sportsmanship Award from a game official during our varsity contest with Carroll High School on Tuesday, August 19th. From the official's report: "Junior setter/hitter Madisyn Douglass had an outstanding night in Caston's three-set victory. Her quickness and ability to distribute the sets to her hitters allowed her team to come away with a nice early season win. Madisyn communicated well with her teammates and they responded to her court leadership." The Comets defeated Carroll 25-8, 25-20, 25-20 and are back in action at home on Thursday, August 28th, when we take on county rival Pioneer
