The Tippecanoe Valley Invitational is always the last match of our season and we look forward to playing in it every year. Unfortunately, the date of it always falls on the night of the Caston academic awards presentations and this year led us to play without Paisley Strasser and Olivia Taylor who were being inducted into the Junior High National Honor Society which is a huge honor for them. However, being only seventh graders I look forward to having them back along with fellow seventh grader Liam Hartzell and sixth graders Vinnie Warner, Kinley Foxworth, Eli Gephardt, and Jackson France. We are losing a three year stalwart of the junior high team in Drew Douglass who has provided eighth grade leadership and am sure will help out Coach Rentschler next year on the varsity golf team. We will certainly miss him next spring. I would like to thank the Caston administration for supporting junior high golf. We are only one of two conference teams that have junior high golf so thank you to Varsity Boys coach Jeremy Rentschler , Athletic Director Trent Tocco, Athletic Administrative Assistant Erin Kline, Transportation Director Josh Lowe, Principal Chuck Evans and Superintendent Angie Miller for their support this year and for many years to come.
