Caston Jr-Sr High School

The Comet wrestling team is ready to begin their season on Thursday, November 21st with a dual meet at Wabash. The Comets are led by former Caston wrestler, Steve Maroney, a 1985 graduate of the school. He's assisted by Shad Kochenderfer who wrestled at Tri-Central in the early 2000s. Maroney is excited to be at the helm of his alma mater and ready to see what his squad can do on the mat. Maroney said this about the 24-25 season: "We began the season on November 4, and we have a lot of good prospects for this season. We were finally able to fill all of our weight classes with a few members who just joined. That gives a great chance of being successful. I expect the boys to have an outstanding season. So far, they’re picking up on everything quite quickly in practice, and I'm really looking forward to getting underway."
