Varsity vs Northfield : loss Varsity vs North Miami : loss Varsity vs Triton Jr-Sr High School : loss On a hot, and sticky weather night at the Honeywell Golf Course( Par 36), the Caston Lady Comet linksters took on the ladies from Northfield, North Miami and Triton. Unfortunately, the hot weather and other outside forces beat the Lady Comets down as they were defeated by the Lady Norse, Lady Warriors, and the Lady Trojans. The Lady Comets will get another chance at the Lady Warriors and the Lady Trojans at the Hoosier North Athletic Conference championships on September 14. A few of the golfers were showing defeated body language even before the match started. We have six matches left, including the HNAC and the IHSAA sectional, so all of us, as a team, need to look inward and decide how we want to finish the season. Fortunately, I know that the ladies will rebound next Tuesday when we travel to the Logansport Golf Club to play a match versus Lewis Cass.
