Caston Comets vs. Argos Dragons In a hard-fought contest between the Caston Comets and the Argos Dragons, both teams displayed solid play and competitive spirit. The Comets created early chances but couldn’t capitalize. Midway through the first half, Argos broke the deadlock and quickly doubled their lead just before the halftime whistle. Early in the second half, Andrew McGrew gave the Comets hope, finding the back of the net from a well-placed pass by Zach Rogers. However, Argos responded with two more goals, stretching the lead to 4-1. The Comets kept fighting, and McGrew struck again to bring the score to 4-2. Yet, fatigue from playing their third match in a week and some key injuries took their toll on the Comets. Argos seized the opportunity and added three more goals, sealing a 7-2 victory. Despite the result, the Comets showed resilience. Sophomore goalkeeper Kaeman Lee stood out with some impressive saves, while McGrew’s brace highlighted his ability to find scoring opportunities. The team continues to struggle against counterattacks but remains determined to improve and bounce back.
