Senior volleyball setter, Makena Middleton, was recognized by an IHSAA official for her actions last Saturday, 8/17, during the Cass County Tournament held at Logansport High School. Here, she is pictured with the pin she received from the athletic department. The reporting official stated: "Makena displayed great leadership at the Cass County tournament on Saturday. She not only showed unbelievable resilience chasing down passes as a setter, but she did it while encouraging her teammates with a huge smile on her face throughout the night. Her positive sportsmanship was noticeable by the officiating crew." Congratulations to Makena and thank you for displaying great leadership on the court!
