Varsity vs Pioneer : Loss Varsity vs Tippy Valley Loss On a beautiful night for golf at Pond View Golf Course the Caston Lady Comet golf team opened their season with a three-way match against the Lady Vikings from Tippecanoe Valley and the Lady Panthers from Pioneer. Led by Senior Captain Shaylee Strasser the Lady Comets confronted their foes looking for their first victory of the season. Behind Freshman Alyssa Smith shooting a 59 the Caston Lady linksters finished in third with a team score of 253 while Tippecanoe Valley was victorious followed by Pioneer. Six of the seven golfers had never played competitively before this year, so they are to be commended for completing their rounds in a timely manner and showing great sportsmanship and spirit.
