The Caston Comet co-ed soccer team looks to build off its successful 2023 campaign where they finished over .500 on the season and won the conference crown. Head Coach Narsico Sanchez will begin his 18th season leading the Comet 11. He feels that his experienced senior class can help reach the goals he and the team have set. "This year, we are fortunate to have a substantial senior class, bringing a wealth of experience that will be invaluable. These seniors have been through numerous battles on the field, providing a strong foundation for our team." Sanchez added, "Among our seniors, Jan Aguilar-Mendez, Zach Rogers, Braeden Rush, and Brock Hook stand out not only for their skill but also for their leadership. Jan’s strategic thinking, Zach’s relentless drive, Braeden’s defensive prowess, and Brock’s playmaking abilities make them cornerstones of our team. Their leadership will inspire their teammates and set the tone for our collective effort." The Comets will travel to Carroll on Thursday, August 15th to scrimmage the Cougars. They square off against the Braves of Maconaquah on home turf Monday, August 19th with a 5:30pm first touch.
