The skies cleared off enough for Comet golfers as they faced off against the Blue Jays of North Judson Monday evening in a conference meet. On Senior night, the Comets recognized Senior, Corbin Smith, and he helped guide the team to a 205 to 209 victory. Smith shot a career best 57. Max Sommers was the medalist with a 46. Luke Graham carded a 49 and Gage Thomas brought in a 53. Other notable scores were Warpenburg with a 61, Rentschler 53, Unger 58, Burkett-Rader 60. The Comets next matchup will be Saturday as they compete in the Pioneer Invitational.
