5th Grade vs Pioneer Jr-Sr High School (35 - 31) Win 5th Grade vs North Judson-San Pierre High School (32 - 27) Win The first game against the Blue Jays was a rough and tumble win. The Blue Jays came ready to win or foul out trying. Fortunately, a good answer to the physicality and a strong performance from the Caston bigs propelled the team to victory. On to the championship game. The championship game against the Panthers was another good game and tight matchup with neither team ever pulling ahead or falling behind. The Comets as a whole group never really matched the effort of the Panthers but were able to shoot just a little bit better, this time using an even scoring distribution between guards and bigs. Another good day of basketball from the young Comets.
