Delays and muddy conditions led to a 17th place team finish at New Prairie for the Comets runners on Saturday. In spite of the conditions, Daulton Oaf and Malakai Clayton managed sub-20 times (19:36 and 19:46), with Drew Douglass and Jack Brumett bringing in the third and fourth scored in under 22 minutes (21:21 and 21:28). Isaac Albright rounded out the Comets' scorers in a time of 22:34. Carter Moss, Reuben Helt, Jamison Rude, Armando Garcia, and Boaz Yarber completed the varsity lineup in this contest, all running respectable times, considering the conditions.
