Caston Loses Tight Match with Argos Varsity vs Argos Jr-Sr High School (1 - 2) Loss Caston played some great soccer on Saturday against conference foe, Argos. The Dragons are always a formidable opponent and are well coached, and Saturday's contest was no exception. The Comets, however, put together a great performance and it made for an exciting match. The Comets were the first to strike on a scored PK from Mack Mappin pretty early in the first half. The game remained 1-0 for a little while until Argos was able to sneak just past the Comet defensive line. The game would remain tied at 1 until 2:59 left in the match when an unfortunate handball call in the box gave Argos a PK attempt on which they capitalized and took a 2-1 lead. There just wasn't enough time left and the Comets never got another good look at the goal. It was a tough loss for the Comets, but they look to bounce back against Peru on Tuesday at the Crater.
