Comets Tie Vikings Varsity vs Tippecanoe Valley High School (1 - 1) Tie The Comets were able to capitalize on an excellent corner kick scoring opportunity just 6 quick minutes into the game. Simon McGrew put the ball in play and Myles Sherrick headed it in. The Comets remained aggressive and possessed the ball for much of the first half, but were never able to again find a goal. With just a few minutes remaining in regulation, Valley was awarded a free kick opportunity from about 25 yards out which they were able to put in the goal. The Comets are 1-0-1 on the year and are back in action against conference foe Argos this Saturday.
