The Lady Comet softball team is set to open up their season tonight at Newton Park against the host LaVille Lancers, weather permitting. The Comets look to improve upon their 5 win campaign last year. Some young players received valuable Varsity experience last year that should lead to growth this year, and they're led by 4 seniors: Avery Baldwin, Kylee Logan, Emily Rodas, and Myli Rude.
